Hi all, I'm new to Guitar Wisdom and even though I have been playing guitar for almost 20 years, there are some things I've always avoided like ear training. Now I'm finally working on it and trying to stop learning using tabs but I'm finding it hard to trust my ear. I've been trying to learn a couple of songs by ear and I have been mostly accurate but I keep finding myself looking for the tab just to make sure I'm not missing anything or that what I've picked up is correct.
Can anybody give me any advice in breaking this habit and trusting myself more?
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Thank you for sharing!
Basically learning scales or triads... I explained with
1) Note names
2) Singing Do Re Mi
3) Intervals recognition
So you can use this for example then work on singing part more.

You can sing Major scale, same starting note, sing Dorian scale.
b3 & b7 ...
This exercise, you want to play any scales on one string!
No shapes, about sounds!
Thank you.

I Wish All My Students Knew THESE Before They Came To Berklee
Thank you, I watched this one last and I remember an earlier foundation video you did on these and since then I've tried to always include them in my warm-ups so I can move along the fretboard more fluently. They are very helpful and I love them.
