Hi Tomo,
Yesterday I asked you a question about drop 2 chords on youtube and you asked me to submit it here. So I asked you whether drop 2 chords should only be played on the first 4 top strings (excluding the low e and a strings). That is more musically useful, according to you. I totally get that, but was just wondering if also practising the variation including the bottom notes adds more to your knowledge because, as you always say: more knowledge is better?
Kind Regards!
Thank you so much for sharing!
Normal chord can be. R 3 5 7
and Guitar has different note range so
drop 2nd note which is 3 so now you have R 5 7 3 = Drop 2.
Don't worry about why we call it Drop 2. Just learn these voicing R 5 7 3.
Now you can learn these chord voicings.
Using top 4 strings. 1,2,3,4 strings.
Can be these 4 types.
7 3 5 R
R 5 7 3
3 7 R 5
5 R 3 7
