Hi all,

Tomo always refer to the area under the pinky to be placed at the low E string, just so slightly that it partially mutes for low E and A string, does anybody find this to be extremely difficult? Anchoring that area down provides a reference point when you pick but what if you need to play the low E string? Do you play it partially muted? What if you need to strum like in the sight reading series? Then your whole palm needs to move, it’s very confusing

Very important question!

Picking position is around the front pickup.

Floating picking style so don't touch the pickguard.
It's not easy but it's worth to try it. This gives you more freedom.

Don't partially mute any strings.

When you play A string, you can mute by your right hand palm.
