Hello! About Using Do Re Mi to Connect Triads, The teacher's demonstration of playing wasn't clear to me. Does it mean using 1-2-3 as the root for each TRIAD to play its chord tones? In addition, if extended to scales, what rules should be followed for playing?

my understanding is that this do re mi part is just to give you an idea of how you can use notes from the scale to connect chords.
he plays an A major triad in 1st inversion (C# F A), then plays Do Re Mi from A major scale (A B C#) and then moves to the next triad, E major in root position (E G# B), then plays Do Re Mi from E major (E F# G#), and repeats again and again for the other 2 chords.

Only caveat is for the minor chord, Do Re Me, where the 3rd note will be half step from the second note. For F# minor: F# G# A.

Then he keeps going playing inversions and playing "Do Re Mi" from each chord in between.

This might be confusing if you are not used to the major scale yet (intervals and how to build it), but don't worry too much.
Focus on learning the triads, how to build them, how to play them and learn the notes on the fret board so you can easily find the note and build the triad around it.
