Dear Tomo,

First off, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.

My question is, what does voice leading mean? To better understand, it would be helpful to understand what it means when triads are not voice leading and when they are and how does this relate to a melody?

I’ve heard the term mentioned and would like a clearer understanding.

Any chance you have a link or able to create a video on the subject?

Voice leading means... top note will lead to smooth line... like small steps.

I had a quick look at the topic of voice leading and see that there are even books exclusively written on this topic.
From what I understand, "top note will lead to smooth line", would be that top note could follow and order of the melody. Anyway, where I am at this is good enough for me for now.
Foundations first and when I can move on from that, I'll take a deeper look at it.
