Why is Tomo so reluctant to tell us the names of songs he's playing? Is he afraid of copyright restrictions or something?
I thought at first he was trying to be funny, such as "You know the name of this famous song." I often don't know the names (and don't think it's funny). Since it's a private site, I wouldn't think we're under the same restrictions as a public forum like youtube, but I could be wrong.
In general, it would be helpful to give specific credit to great artists, albums, and songs, and tell students where to go to find more examples of things Tomo is teaching, such as "Go listen to XXXX for more examples." Or "these songs are great examples of XXXX"
Feeding students a steady library of new, inspiring music seems necessary to understanding how theory works in the wild.
Thanks so much for subscribing Guitar Wisdom.
Thank you for sharing.
Which lesson video are you talking about?
Definitely I would like to talk about my blues listening list... funk listening list.
Thank you.
