I have played with guitar plugins because of living situation where i can not make much noise. Now i live in a remote house for the first time! So now i can have a amplifier, but i dont know what to play on.
I play mostly clean, but i like to get overdriven lead tones like Takanaka also. My favorite tone is "The moon rose" live 1981 by Takanaka, so something that can make sound like that would be nice.
I dont use many pedals, only a tubescreamer, reverb, wah and volume pedal. My budget is around 2000 USD, so anything around or below that is okay. What do you think will be good?
Thanks for answers
I live in a four room apartment with three other units. I bought a Boss Katana Artist series combo and it’s a great practice amp because it has a switch on it where you can play at five watts. I also have a small pedal board with a tuner, a wah, an overdrive and a really nice Wampler Ego compressor. The amp sounds great and it works for me so I don’t make the bad neighbor list.
Thank you for sharing! I have that amp. Very good.
Please make sure that amp setting is slightly loud and it's a little uncomfortable to play so you use more dynamics on picking and you can hear any too much left hand pressure etc.
Thank you.
