it has been pretty difficult to sing while playing blues! I feel like i always just end up singing the blues shuffle notes instead of a different melody. I have also noticed that Tomo usually doesn't come in on 1, and that has been really tricky for me to do!
Anyone have tips to get more comfortable doing it? Practice a lot I'm sure and just keep trying!

Two things: 1) Sing basic Major Scale
2) Sing Blues Phrase
First learn how to sing basic pitches.
Then learn simple melody or simple bassline for singing.
Maybe you want to count while listening melody?
What to play?
1) Blues Shuffle Riff ( Root & 5th, Root & 6th) = E blues
2) Blues Bassline ( 1111 4411 5411) = F blues ...sing Chicken Shack Melody!
