My own backing track take and over dun=b on after playing along to Charlie Christen Blues in b. I thought the Triad Tomo training clearly audible, my notes are getting cleaner and tighter the more I practice his simpleI focus and triad ideas.https://soundcloud.com/hematite_berries/gnubluesinbcharliechristentfra?si=6b4b0720fee740869e04380b9dc29632&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
Thank you for subscribing Guitar Wisdom. Good job! Thank you for sharing!
Try to slow down a little from the original recording. Triads are so good!
Try this next. Charlie Christian " Rose Room " Great solo!
Anyone can challenge this ... can post on your own YouTube Channel.
Thank you.

Hi Tomo, Thank you so much !! I I will work on your advice.
I cleaned up the track so their I sonly one guitar at a time and it sounds much cleaner, also a bit of a funk Garage Band drummer Maurice:

I it turns out that I am playing my Charlie Christen takes flight and miscounted, I played against song 3 not song 5, "I found a new baby" . So I listened to it just twice and then played along, then played my take to my playing along... The song is actually in Dm ,
(so almost F ?), F, C, C7 A,, A7,Dm G, Gm are the primary chords, according to chordfy.
You're very happy! Thank you for your reply!
when you practice transcribe solo, 1) Play just by yourself
2) Play with a metronome on 2 & 4
3) No reverb
Then you will improve your time feel and picking dynamics.
Good job!
Thank you.

Hi Tomo,
I have been working hard on all ways to explore the Rose Room.
Metronone, with/without and listening.
I have a chord chart,I am working the chord voicing, and groove.
I finally have a little groove that I think is getting slowly better. Thank you for the great advice.

Thanks for sharing! I love playing & teaching Rose Room so much!
Good job! You're very welcome! My pleasure!
Challenge to play a little slower tempo is always so good!
Thank you.
Tomo
For chords... Try to play all R 3 7 or R 7 3 chords for this and play it much slower!
Thank you.
Tomo
Hi Tomo,
Ok I feel comfortable now with full chords at tempo, I will try your voicings without track and slow through the same basic progression.
I do have question and am not sure on minor/major modality before I start this journey into a land without the 5.
For example, over the iv vs( IV or IV7). do I want to lean towards playing the 3 minor, or missing or extended? (pinky) when playing these R73 R37 chords and the chord is "voiced" minor by the band ?
Thank you so much for expert and kind comments!
Thank you Tomo!
Thank you for video, and great teaching/advice I now feel ready to start a learning Charlie Christen's solo section .
I also will try and overcome my inherent shyness and get my instagram operational.
You're very welcome!
My pleasure!
So happy to hear that!
Thank you so much!
Tomo
