Hi, im a little confused on how to practice triads and arpeggios within a routine. Specifically in relation to what keys we should practice in. In Tomo's practice routine video he explains what to do but i was wondering how many keys we need to practice in and how often we need to switch up the key we are practicing in
Thank you so much for subscribing Guitar Wisdom.
Hope you watched this video?

Please learn basic inversions on 123 / 234 345 456 string set.
If you do slowly and focus on one set... then you can understand them.
Do learn in C for a while ... 2-3 weeks. Then change to F... then combine C & F... etc.
Then you can add whatever keys you are interested in..
Thank you!

Thank you so much for your response, yes i have seen that video and most of the triad series, but i think i went through it too fast so i will start to watch it again and take it much slower.
You're very welcome!
Triads are so good! Learn them super slowly and sing each intervals as much as you can.
Good progress on learning and practicing .... do it super slow! Then you digest the materials so deeply!
If you do fast then you just kind of remembering those shapes but you are not sure 100% in two seconds!
Please learn slower so that you can perform well later.
Thank you.

You are talking two things! Triads ... and arpeggios.
I would recommend to focus on ONE thing at time!
How long? Always less ..but everyday! Maybe you can practice 5 to 15 minutes a day.
How many keys? One then Two... maybe 3? Not so many to worry about.
Thank you.
Tomo
