Play simple R 3 7 / R 7 3 comping on G Blues! This way you can work on your rhythm guitar first then soloing....

Thanks Tomo. I've prepared a backing track and will try to post a video by week's end playing a solo with the ideas you presented. I'm learning so much from a theory and technique point of view! I'm seeing how things fit together in a way I haven't seen before! Thank you!

Hi Tomo, so much to learn! It's good. Your alternating picking is so smooth and efficient. I know this may be difficult to describe, but can you tell me does the pick move slightly in between your fingers when you attack the string while alternating? I have a tendency to 'bob' the pick up and down (I think because I get tense) while attacking the string rather than a smooth 'across' the string motion. Thanks!
Thanks for your reply! Thank you! I have practiced my alternate picking a lot. Yet I feel my picking is not that much clean. That's why I cannot play fast! My pick is always moving in between my fingers and almost I loose it any time. That's why I always leave 3-4 picks near me I can grab next pick if I need.

Hi Tomo! It has been awhile. A lot has happened! I had wrist surgery on April 19th and doing pretty well. I'm getting back to practice now and continue to immerse myself in the G blues lesson. I plan to post something by the end of next week. I will make a new backing track...slower than the lesson!
There is so much to learn here. It really is its own language and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. Just wanted you to know what's been going on and that I'm back. Feels good too! Thanks for your patience Tomo!
