Hi Tomo,
Another question, this time about the Major/Minor Scale and Major/Minor Pentatonic Scales. From you videos I've been learning the 4 different scales by learning them from the different positions so C major from the 7th position on string 6 for example or the C major from position 2 on the 5th string and for example the A minor Pentatonic from the 5th position on the 6th string and I have been learning the intervals, note names and singing. I wonder where do I go from there?
You suggest doing the C, F and G major scales or doing a progression Am, G, F progression with the Aeolian scale. What else can I do to expand that knowledge?
1-I've been trying to, for example, connect the scales of C major. So, going from the C major scale from the 7th position on the 6th string with the C major scale to the 10th position on 4th string and going back and forth. And have been trying to do that with all the major, minor, and pentonic scales so that I can move up and down vertically and horizontally around the fret board. Is this a good way to go?
Aside from learning the other scales and notes and intervals, doing chord progressions, and trying to connect them to each other, what else can I do with them?
