Hi Tomo,

I’ve been doing walking base line and now wanting to practice some improvised solo to go with it but find it sounds really choppy and not smooth at all. I’m guessing it’s a hand sync issue but do you have any GW or YT videos you can recommend on getting faster at fingerpicking solos.
I did see a video where you tucked the pick in your fingers for when it comes to solo time and that might be cool to do in future but can you give me some guidance on playing without a pick?

Honestly I am not great at single note finger picking so I use my pick for single note soloing.

My way is to hold a pick between my first & 2nd fingers so anytime I can switch back and forth.

Without pick.
1) You can use your thumb to do all down pickling.
2) Figure out your favorite conbimnation of your fingers.
