Hi GW Group!

Just finished the live stream tonight and I found the tips useful. As one user said Tomo highlighted the use of top and bottom notes of a triad, scales on one string, phrasing, and even singing or know what you want to say before you pick up the guitar to play, and oh yeah to leave space as you play. Never mind moving and grooving as you play :)

I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow and see how it goes. I'd love to hear how it goes for you, too!

Btw Tomo,

I really appreciated you reading some of the live comments and talking to us. The communication make it much better imo.

P.S. I still want to know why. I thought about the high and low note in the triad and found for example, if you start with the root, then 1st, then 2nd inversion you hit the root 3rd, 5th of the chord on the lower and then the 5th, 1st, 3rd on the higher. So if you play one at a time, for example you'd be doing 1st with 5th, 3rd with 1st, and 5th with third or something like that. So moving notes in a progression of sorts. I dunno, I always want to know how, and also the why lol

I am a Japanese guy! I do things no reasons why a lot!

This thing... I just heard that many people just play the bottom then top of triads so I really don't know why.
It sounds good to me!

Any inversions can start or end!
Just picking the bottom then the first note!

No need to know which inversion to start because depends on chord ... I don't even know!
You can figure them out as much as you can. The concept is super simple! Just pick 2 notes!

(1) When you receive an email invitation to join a livestream, click the link to "View this email in your browser."

(2) You will arrive at a landing page, where you can click the "Past Issues" button in the upper left corner of your screen.

(3) Next, on the "Archives" page, click the link for the recorded livestream you would like to see.
