Hi Tomo, long time fan :)
Recently broke my collarbone and will be off work until 2025 so I'm coming back to relearn the guitar!! Currently doing well through your triads series. I'm practicing all 3 (vertical, horizontal, same inversions) methods for each key. I'm getting to the point where I'm able to guess and get about 90% where I'm landing in the correct place, without looking.
My question is: how important in the practice ladder/routine is "no looking"? Also, is it ok that I'm "guessing" and honing that in? Or is there something else I should be emphasizing?
Thank you for sharing!
Wishing your fast recovery!
Good job!
Up to you! If you don't look, then you will use your hear & your inner hearing more!
To me, why not? If you cannot hear it... then don't play anything and just wait until you hear it.
Always more work is better to me. This way I will get more freedom later.
Especially simple vertical way.. I don't look at the fretboard at all.
Thank you!
Tomo
