Hi Tomo,
As you know I've been very dedicated in becoming the best guitarist I can be and I wanted your advice.
Currently, I am working through your foundation series of theory, blues, chords, and triads, and I've noticed that I'm not very good at the D and C shaped bar chords, the drop 2 M7 voicing of 3 M7 R 5 chords, and the major and minor triads in root position on the 654 and 543 strings where I can't place my fingers all down at the same time yet. I'm getting better but it is taking a long time. I am not so young anymore and my brain makes connections slower than the young people can do.
I've been holding off on progressing in some of those areas because I want to get those down so I can become fluid and play cleanly. I've always thought you are are only as good as your weakest link.
Therefore, is it worthwhile for me to continue making those three chords 100 percent good by placing my fingers all down at the same time and having a clean tone for them?
As well, what tips do you have for those problem chords and how can you make sure all fingers go down on the fret board at the same time?
