Fast frets/ finger eaze on my taylor 214???

Hey guys would love to gear your thoughts on taking care of acoustic. I was thinking of getting some “fast frets” string/ fret cleaner for my beloved taylor 214 acoustic, ive used it before on my strat and telecaster but im apprehensive to put it on my acoustic taylor.

Ia fast frets 100% safe to use , does it have any long term ill affects??? Or should i stay clear???

Thanks for sharing this.

For me, I just use a dry cloth and wipe each fret many times when I change the strings and I do not use anything on the fretboard at all.

Honestly with the Martin D18 I have I use no product whatsoever. I just wipe the guitar down after most sessions with a smooth cloth and the odd time I mist the cloth lightly to remove any fingerprints or things like that. And same as Tomo when I change strings I wipe the fretboard and frets and that is it.

Hi SB, just saw your post and thought I’d share my experience. I have used fast fret type products, and while they seem to work, the effects are short lasting, which means more product has to be used constantly. I now realize with Tomo’s feedback that the drag I felt in my left hand was more attributable to using more pressure in my left hand, which creates a lot of drag, mainly from the thumb. I found that trying to be super aware of my left hand pressure has improved my ability to slide up and down the neck.
