How to send videos? Only by youtube? Or email addr
Thank you for asking!
No need to send your video. This is not in private lesson. It's a part of this forum communication,
Simple guide line is:
1) Only post your performance based on Guitar Wisdom lesson video. So it could be triad exercises, R 3 7 Swing groove, Chromatic scale or Blues Etude. No personal soloing or from any other videos expect GW lesson videos.
2) Only allow to post on your YouTube Channel as unlisted or listed so that our forum members can watch it easily from here.
3) Video length within 3 minutes Max. 1 to 2 minutes is good.
This way we share our progress and I can point out any suggestion to that specific topic.
This is one example. I played Blue Monk Melody with specific fingerings then I played Bb Blues Etude.
Blue Monk Melody & Solo Etude
Thank you.

Please tell me how about this etude and give some advise.
Thanks for sharing this.
It sounds very smooth over all.
Second half with those melody... need to be played a little slower.
Please go slower and try not to make pick noise sound.
Try not look at the fretboard! Look at the music and play them!
Slow down and get better tone, more dynamics, less pick noises.
Don't look at the fretboard then you can improve to next level!
Good job!

I apologize for my recent video post. I just saw the guide, I overstepped and I have deleted it.

Does this pick noise have a lot to do with the paddle? I actually use this pick is 5mm, I have used it for several years, it is special, half of the time I learned to play a gypsy guitar, I see that everyone asks for a very thick pick, in fact, it feels like this thickness no matter what angle, it doesn't seem to reduce noise, so it has something to do with the thickness, right? Of course, a higher thickness may be more suitable for accompaniment, because the accompaniment part of the gypsy guitar is very important, and it takes many years to learn, accounting for a lot of learning and teaching materials.
Okay! That's very personal so you do what you like to do.
First I thought you are using a metronome!
My suggestion is very general so don't worry about that.
Yes, I aware that that circle of community... they use a thicker pick to produce a volume on acoustic guitar.
That's true! You get those noises all the times. That's why I use 1.00mm picks. For no noise and more dynamics.
That's my style! Simple style.
So this part is all up to each person.
Thank you.

What speed should student use? lento? And can you tell me how to deal with rubato?
Slow as possible.
Some part, you can play super slow and almost no rhythm.
Each note sustain and no noises between phrases.
Thank you.
Tomo
I have learnt this works for 9 years and always use a 10 speed, you know we can use lento 40 speed and four beat pick once, so that is 10 tample, named "grave", like graveyard. How about that? Because it is too hard to play sustaining sound or voice.
Thanks for sharing. For using a metronome at 50 per beat is really great tempo too.
You can do
1) 50 then
2) 50,52,54,56,58..
3) 51,53,55,57,59..
It's hard to do and so much fun.
Thank you.
Tomo
It's not no tempo... there is a flow and more space. I made a lot of videos where playing blues solo but very freely.
Thank you.
