Hi professor Fujita and forum.
I was really enjoy the other members videos the last days and i thought that i will also upload what i am currently working on rythm guitar for the improvment of myself and other fellow members.
Sorry for all this videos Mr Tomo i am sure that you are very busy man and i truly appreciate the time and effort that you give to make us better.
One more question is what can i do or (buy) to make rythm sound better with my electric guitar! i really enjoy alot more the sound of chords on acoustic! how can i succed a better sound in that department also in electric guitar! now its sound very cold and noisy if that make sense!
Thank again for everythink.
Thank you so much for sharing! Please just post only one video! One is good! Less is more!
For electric guitar, I highly recommend Ibanez AZES31! So good!
1) Autumn Leaves / R 3 7 Swing Groove
Good job over all. Good wide swing!
Check A-7 (you are getting one extra note/pitch)
Get rid of slide note.
So fix those parts, practice slower.
2) Bb Blues / R 3 7
Check 1st note to first measure... not grooving!
Practice that part more often!
Timing is not tight! Your time is rushing and not correct 12 bar blues! (first one!) Please check!
So maybe you choose a little faster first then slowing down.
This one need to have more detail attention.
3) KYOTO
Chords are correct.
Muting is weak.
Play a little simple.
Play it slow and when you are muting rhythm, please use your left hand.
Make sure that your string height is about 2.00mm at 12th fret.
Guitar setting: Tone is always full. Volume is about 8-9 for single note and 7-8 for rhythm guitar.
Try lower the pickup especially lower string side. This makes a little cleaner tone.
Good job!
Thank you.
Tomo
Thank you so much for your respond! I will try to dissappear the extra pitch sound on A7 on autumn leaves and limit the sound of fingers! Is very difficult!
In the Bb blues i was supposed to upload another video but i confused them!😅 I am aware of the blues progression but the 2 and 4 bit metronome is still a bit difficult!.
Sorry for kyoto! It's so beautiful song and the melodies are so tasteful! I love it! For sure alot of improvements can be made! How i can make my muting better?
Thank you very much 🙂
You're very welcome! That chord. A-7(b5) , you can play as simple A-7.
Try it with slower tempo. Maybe you can practice only that part, repeat.
Bb Blues - very very important to follow simple 12 bars blues.
You should practice Bb Blues Swing Groove about 6-8 times.
Kyoto has a lot of chords so it's very hard to learn!
Always need to pick a little simple, a little slower.
Muting better. More practice on R 3 7 Swing Groove with slower tempo.
Practice KYOTO with slower tempo. Listen carefully what intervals are ringing and make sure any unwanted notes.
Thank you.
Tomo
