Hi Professor i am enjoying so much the lessons in guitar wisdom and i have improved my technique and knowledge so much!
I am currently try to program a little better my practice!
Section 1 Rhythm:
1) R 3 7 swing
2) 8th notes strumming patterns with different progressions.
3)clap 16th notes lesson
4)picking different signature lesson
5)playalong with current song that I learn
6)play with backing track the current song that I learn.
Struggles: recognise the rythm just by listening the song without the lesson and be more comfortable to start my phrases in every beat and be more aware! In average rythm has improved so much! I have see the beginner series videos 2-3 times and practise alot r37 and 8th note and songs and I am so much better now and i can understand how i can be better.
Ear training:
1) solfez nto re nto mi...
2)learn fretboard without memorization lesson
3)play 1 chord and then 4 , 5 ,6 , 2 and listen!
4)find vocal melodies in songs that I want to sing!
Struggles: find the chords of a song by listening and feeling the chords! Feeling and understand the degrees by listening! My current goal was to be able to sing only with the root the major scale up and down but i am still struggle to sing C F if sometime has pass and i don't say inside my head c d e f!
Fretboard knowledge:
1) take a sting and I put a random generator to tell me notes and i try to find them us fast us i can!
2)parallel scale try to think what note and what degree it is and sing it in every sting.
3)DCage system! Try to play the scale under the chord also I try 3rds 6ths intervals and 4 note groups!
4)play common pop progressions with triads in a set of strings
Struggles: i can't play improvisation so good!
I stop nuddling along time ago with following your advise don't jam with backing tracks and don't create your own music before learn from others! The problem is that I can't understand so much in this point in time just by listening! I can find an easy solo with effort or vocal melodies after finding the first note with humming! But after the progression is different or the groove! Should I learn licks over chords!? How should i start borrowing music and put it in improvisation!?
There are more sections and questions but I don't want to make the message to big! How you find the practise exercise can you spot me some mini goals that I need to have in mind or other exercises!
Thank you very much for everything š
I'll give you a sense of my practice schedule and foci.

Thank you for sharing.
I think you need to make things much more simple ways and avoid jamming or soloing over backing tracks.
You use "struggle" a lot.
This means you need more foundation without any high tech things!
I highly suggest
1) R 3 7 Swing groove with super slow tempo without a metronome for a while.
a) Blues
b) Jazz Blues
c) Jazz Standards
2) Major scale
Practice more single strings.
a) Only use one finger, thinking note name, interval & singing
b) Do Re Me Do....
c) Do Mi Re Fa...
3) Triad Inversions
a) C Triad in 3 ways / Super Slow / No noise
b) F Train in 3 ways / Super Slow / No noise
c) Mix C & F
Like those. Maybe focus on only 3 things.
Then you can add one or two more.
But don't use any backing tracks or anything easy to use!
Focus on your foundation.
For improvisation.
You can listen same record over and over.
You can transcribe music, solo then analyze them.
Good luck!
Tomo
This is where I am at the moment. Going back to basics is having the desired effect. I am starting to feel more relaxed, left hand is less tense, right hand with pick is more relaxed and the tone is starting to sound better with strumming. I now know that slow is best so patience is needed and the motivation is coming from the small incremental improvements. Never thought I would enjoy scales but I can see the reasoning now. Thanks Tomo.
