I was just wondering how somebody would begin to enter the music performance scene and start to play with people? I was thinking maybe about checking out music venues and just asking them but I am not sure. I would love to hear the advice you would give to aspiring musicians/songwriters. First you need to have your social media work & gain some followers.
Old days, if you ask the venue, they will ask you how many email list do you have?
Now days, you can gain your fans through Instagram, YouTube etc.
Post something everyday! Be creative and show how much fun you have with your music.
Like anything... no magic! Just pure hard work and making a great chance with things that you have already prepared!
Many ways possible!
PS, Write your original songs and release at EP or full album. You should have some original music.
