This question is birth from alternate pick.
Now I do chromatic scales and 《Leavitt 1》about page 2,3.And C major and F major ‘s ear training and triad.
Maybe I can add an alternate pick exercise at the same time.
But now ,I meet a problem, I don't know how to use metronome.
Ps:I watch alternate pick lesson and B16 Rhythm—Picking lesson.
In other words, I don't learn metronomes by comprehend way.
I really like start with chromatic scale to as first guitar lesson.
Please tell me how to learn to use metronomes and feel the beat in the right way ,Thank you sir!

Alternate picking, you use it for playing 8th notes.
How to use a metronome.
Two ways:
1) Set a metronome on each beat. For example 60 per beat or 80 per beat.
2) Set a metronome on 2 & 4 beats. So metronome setting is at 40 = 80 per beat.
