Hi Tomo and guitar wisdom members! I am in trip in Egypt and after i will go to my girls house in greece so i will be away from my guitar for 15 days! My goal in this year is to improve my ear so i took the chance to at least focus on listening music when I can! In my previous thread some reference about radiohead how to disappear completely made me search the album and their work and i really really like them! My suggestion is 1 day out of the week or 15 days maybe we can send 1 song or live performances from our favourite artists somewhere in the forum and our professor can choose one and that he likes and find helpful for our progress and analyse them this way we will have new music to listen and a cool video from our favourite teacher! 🙂

Hi Markos!

I love the idea of sharing with each other. Don't know how it connects to GW lessons exactly so don't know how into this Tomo may or may not be.

I'd suggest maybe our GW group could create a Discord account and do stuff there or do something together on JamKazaam and do some open mics etc. I'd love for our community to share more and interact. :)

Btw used to live in Egypt for a while some year back after the revolution. I don't know how long you will be there for but aside from the obvious historical sites like the pyramids or places like Luxor etc. then make sure you head towards the Sinai area and head down south to Dahab. Very quiet place with an amazing snorkelling experience at the Blue Hole. Or take one of those Nile cruises on the small houseboats.

I cannot teach / analyze song(s) for individual subscriber(s).
That's more like "Private Lesson"

Among members, you guys can share favorite music and discuss about it.
That's okay to do that.

I only can comment or suggest around GW lesson videos.

Michael thank you so much for your answer and recommendations! I was thinking more of a thread once in a week that we can post songs and if our professor have time maybe he can make a YouTube video like let's listen together with a random song of 1 guitar wisdom member post! I thought its a good idea to discover new music! Thank you for your wonderful site guys and your involvement 🙂

Hi Markos,

Please notice the thread I made recently about the Discord server. I set it up for GW subscribers to hang out and post and interact. So anything no guitar related could be put there and your ideas could be pursued further. I'm on board :)
