Heres a latest two of us jam performance. On this one focus is on less notes and slower. Also tried to apply triads approach more on top three strings. Added in a melody part that ended up repeating probably didn’t need to do that. The vibratos still there a lot but getting better. Trying to just sustain the notes and keep in time with the loop. Thanks for watching
Hi,
Is this a GW song? I tried to search for it and didn't see it. Maybe I'm missing something. Could you tell me how to find this on GW?
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Jeff. I Like this thread idea and hope to get a tune up eventually. Probably good to get the looper set like you did ahead of time. I have been practicing getting that loop in real tme and building from there each session. Either way the video is key!
Thanks Jeffrey for sharing this video!
Love your pick too. You are inspiring everyone!
Your part is really good! Good job!
Playing melody... playing 7th chord arpeggios.
A little bit technical issues I feel.
1) Your string height is not high enough especially higher strings side.
You can not use any dynamics because your notes got fret buzz. So try to raise the string height, I prefer 2.00mm at the 12th fret. Easy to check! Drop 2 of my Wisdom picks at the 12th fret.... from 6th string side.
2) Body motion... when music starts.. you need to move your body more. Easy way to understand is.... just watch your video without the sound. Can you tell any tempo/feel?
Body language of music is so important!
3) Backig rhythm guitar. Overall good. Very end of song... make "Space" Do you understand it?
If not, I can demonstrate it for you. This is super important when you make your own backing track.
Thank you!
Good job!
Tomo
Michael, these lessons are posted in the Neo Soul/R&B section of Guitar Wisdom:

These are not easy lessons. Be sure to take your time and be kind to yourself!
Thank you for watching and for the notes! I was going to work on this more before posting but noticed I was doing pretty much the same thing and was time for review. By creating space you mean less notes in the backing track at the end?
I think I follow you but Whenever you get a chance would definitely like a demonstration of this yes.
Will check the string height thanks! It could be my imagination as I have a standard pickboy pick too but the tf signature pick honestly does feel and sound better maybe slightly smaller and pointier shape but not positive. I compared back to back, they are different… Love it! Mine says don’t expect too fast
Thanks for pointing out on body motion, will review!
