Thanks Michael for sharing this!
A lot of details.
I still practice these everyday.
1) Chromatic scale exercise
2) R 3 7 Swing groove with a metronome
Then I practice songs or rhythm guitar grooves.
I love playing good grooves.
I write my basic plan & basic choices (ideas) on my note book.
I don't write them everyday. I have tried but it was a little still and there is no choices for
good creativities. So I plan ideas but I don't schedule what exactly to do.
Thank you.
Tomo
Hey Michael, impressive routine! Glad you made time for songs :)
For me, if I don't play songs, then they go away from memory. Practice is mainly foundation items working towards a looper routine that incorporates my goals of R37, Bb etude with lead in parts, melody of standard Blue Monk. I get about an hour a day or every other day, strive for each day. Listening to music whenever the time is right. Cheers, johno
