Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hello everyone!

I’m excited to share something special that I’ve put together for the Guitar Wisdom community. As many of you know, Tomo has created and shared supplemental videos throughout the forum to deepen our understanding of key concepts and answer subscriber questions that require demonstration. I’ve compiled these into a playlist for easier access.

These videos are unlisted, so they’re only available through this link and are intended exclusively for Guitar Wisdom students—just a little something extra to support you on your journey. This resource will continue to grow with all of you, offering additional insights into Tomo's technique and helpful suggestions for commonly asked questions.

Additionally, you will find this month's live stream at the top of the playlist! Tomo will go LIVE on Wednesday, January 29th, at 8 p.m. EST. If you can't make it live, don’t worry! We record all streams for later viewing. Please leave your comments on the video—Tomo loves receiving your feedback!

This is really helpful. Like getting a new set of encyclopedias to explore! I see lots of lessons I need to watch for stuff I'm working on right now. Also, I love the live streams. Nice that if we miss them, we can watch later.

Thanks Sammi & GW team! Very smart & so useful! Excellent!

The c triad one popped up right after went through blue monk melody and thought oh great I know c triads already but let’s review … then got suprised by second part where forgot about section where you’re playing all of the roots then all the inversion ones then inversion twos on all strings... Yep need to review more was taking a beat or two too long/ also good reminder on muting and jumping for instance on string 5 root to first inversion so there’s no noise.
Was also playing r37 swing today amp setup properly volume between two and three. No reverb. Pretty loud. Need to find more time to play at this volume. You really have to focus relax and hold the pick real light to make it sound any good… There’s a big difference in difficulty too when you practice it that way. You can hear exactly what you need to fix and work on.

Was listening to Kyoto again today the guitar part starting at 2mins 10 seconds is really cool. Not sure what’s happening sounds like very quick and light strums with amazing muting. So nice with the piano. Check that out

For now, I recommend you "save" the playlist. Here are step by step instructions:

3. On the left-hand selection menu, click the icon 'You'.
4. Under your 'History' you will see your 'Playlists'.
5. Voila! You have easy access to this playlist via your YouTube account.
