Hi Everyone ! I find my guitar is easy to lose tune , or my electric guitar , the distance from the string to the fingerboard is too low which is make sound not good . About my acoustic guitar , The distance from the string to the fingerboard is too heigh , which is hard to play .
Another point is , my place is really dry , humidity is in the teens all year round , so I have to use some humidity at 49
percent constant humidity bag , put them to the guitar case .
And I 'm reading to a book 《 Guitar Player Repair Guide》 by Dan Erlewine , just need slow to read , I think this book is kind of deep , still need prepare the guitar tool!
Here! We find a good video !
Hello Jiayang!
Thank you for sharing!
Tomo also have this video about setup, it was the first time I saw Tomo, was in this video where I discovered Guitar Wisdom:
Thank you, Jiayang! This is helpful. I need to learn about setting up my guitars too. I don't do more than change my strings and keep them clean. I would love to be able to tighten down the guitar jack where I plug in my cable. They can get loose on some of my guitars. I worry about making things worse or what I am going to break by taking things apart. I appreciate you setting a good example for me to not be afraid to learn to work on my guitars.

Great thread!
Do you really know how to change the strings correct way?
Super duper important!
Thank you.
Tomo
Thank you Jiayang for this thread.
When you change your string on ES335... Leave one string (High E)
so your guitar bridge will not move.
If you talk all the strings then it's easy to move the height of the bridge,
Your string height should be 1.5mm to 2.00 at the 12th fret. If it's lower than this..... not great!
Thank you.
Tomo
Thank you Sergio!
