Hi, folks!
My name is Tadashi Morita.
I live in Hiroshima, Japan.
I joined Guitar Wisdom last month.
I really respect Tomo's teaching style.
I want to be able to play the guitar as if I'm singing. I want to be free from tablature.
I'll continue to learn and practice the guitar with you all.
Thank you!
Nice to meet you. Solfège is helpful tying the together. Tomo explains in one his videos(my fav) how to learn not memorize.
I always want to know why im doing something. He clears that all up using intervals; one-string at a time. Listen to how far awsy the sounds are from your starting point or home. Could also put on a drone so not boring for you.
It's a very creative exercise that he shared!
Hi Tadashi!
Nice job! You never look at your left hand! That is awesome. I'm working on that. You set a good example for me.
Keep having fun and learning a lot.

Nice to meet you, Michael!
Thanks to you, I learned the word "solfege" for the first time.
As I practice the SR series, I think I begin to understand the importance of getting familiar with it, rather than memorizing it.
I'd like to continue having fun with it.
Thank you!
Nice to meet you, Kurt!
And thank you for your lovely message.
Since I joined GW, I feel like the guitar has opened up to me in a new way.
I would like to take my time and become familiar with the guitar without rushing.
Thank you!
Welcome Tadashi san!
So happy to have you here at Guitar Wisdom.
Thanks so much for your kind words.
Good job playing C Major scale exercise on 2nd position.
Once thing you want to watch GW lesson video and watch my fingering.
When you go from 2nd finger to 4th finger, it's important to keep 2nd finger (not move until you finish 4th finger)
Very difficult you you need to keep your 1234 fingers on 2345 frets so
when you stretch 1st finger to play chromatic note, you still need to keep your 1234 fingers near 2345 frets. So you need to stretch your 1st finger. This part is super important in this lesson. So fingering, you need to fix it.
Looking forward to your guitar journey.
Thank you.
Tomo
