Hello! I've been researching and trialing for my next guitar.
I landed on Gibson LP Studio, and I was pretty confident with my choice. However, I recently discovered Tokai guitars and am very curious if anyone has any thoughts/opinions on how Tokai LS (101, 201, etc) series feel and sound, in comparison to LP.
Hey Jack, if the sound is comparable, the deciding factor for me would be WEIGHT! Being an ‘older dude’ I definitely wouldn’t want 9+ lbs on my back/shoulders. Also, beware of neck dive. A balanced instrument makes for a happier musician! My 2 cents on the topic. Good luck 👍!
