Hi Tomo & Team:
What equipment do you need to make a loop / backing track to practice with?
I'm kind of a noob when it comes to gear, but would like to be able to do some of the things you are doing in the videos and really walk through the exercises.
I have a couple guitars (PRS Paul's Guitar SE, and Lincoln Brewster Signature Fender Stratocaster), for my amp I have a Fender Blues Junior IV and that's basically it.
What kind of device do I need to make a recording and loop it?
Appreciate your feedback!
Thanks,
Chris
Thank you for your question & this thread.
Simply I use a Boss RC-3 & foot switch for stop/erase etc.
Very simple and so useful.
You got great gear! That's enough. You can enjoy more!
Thank you.
Tomo
Now what can you use if you have none of this equipment? What simple app or tech can be used otherwise?
You could always get an iRig or an inexpensive audio interface to let you use GarageBand on an iPad/iPhone/Mac.
Thank you Tomo!
Matt, I am a Mac guy so yes, that's a good idea...I haven't tried that but will have to give it a go! Thank you.
