How complete should you be for one lesson before taking the next?
My recent problem is that I am looking for perfection too much and not moving forward. I feel like I'm too much input, only gathering knowledge, and scared to move on. Please tell me if there are any indicators.

No need to worry about " Perfection "
Everything will take some time to sink in.
2-3 weeks or more. All depends on lessons but you can repeat same lesson(s) for a while but please don't be afraid to switch to other lessons.
Should be able to play smoothly.
For instant, triad inversions.

Be able to do this in other keys. F, Bb... or D...
Should be able to do very smoothly. Without any hesitation (2-3 seconds)
You need to record yourself and listen carefully.
