Way to be Rich!! I totally put on my listening ears. Great to hear the solid pace, good speed 50bpm. I have tried this lesson practice and you did the 2 beat pause! I heard that :). Thank you for the count off, I think that is very important and professional. It is interesting how this etude could get a solo like BLUE MONK melody in either the first or second verse. I think those parts go good together. The technology part still gets me too, it has a way of its own. Do you have a looper? Either way everything fit in time, I dig it! - johno

A few thing to add...

1) Play those 3 note chords a little softer.
So as if you play them without amp.... you cannot hear those notes really well from guitar itself. That much you want to play softer.

2) Single note. Great job!
You still have more room to work on your left hand thumb position & looser touch.
And it's time to add a little more dynamics from your picking. You can check some alternate picking direction.

Hey Richard! Bear with me since I’m not sure how much of this you already know. When you record in a portrait style, so vertically, it will always be a short and appear with a link only.

When you record with the phone oriented horizontally, and then copy the link into your post, it will then appear as a video thumbnail instead of just the link.

All your videos should be available to you when you go into your YouTube channel and check “ my videos”. I hope this helps.

I don’t stash the pick that often so I can’t really answer that question.
When I’ve played in my rock bands I never played with my fingers so this is all new to me. 😊

Syracuse a balmy 60, yeah! Nice performance overall Rich! Great grooving with body movement, smooth transition from finger to flat picking, and I noticed an improvement in your alternate picking! And a few places when you were finger picking, it sounded soft and smooth too! Nice PRS! Well done.

Light touch. You can use more dynamics (soft picking)

Please watch out your alternate picking.
Down beat is down picking & up beat is up picking.

You can practice with very slow tempo and move your body with beats..
so you can really feel when is down beat (forward) and up beat (backward)
