Very exciting to have Pt 2 of ear training!
Just a thought that popped into my head as I saw the email notification. I wonder will you be able to break down the best methods for ear training? In my personal ear training I've mainly been focusing, as a start, on learning the intervals in relation to different notes for like major and minor seconds etc. but I'm having a hard time to move to chords of different types. Would it be best to do some solfege as I learn a dominant 7th chords etc. so I can hear the root, 3rd, 7th alone and then as a chord? Just a bit confused as to how to move forward with this skill.
Anyhow it should be fun to take part in this but I might not be able to do join live this time, but we shall see. I do love the live interaction but some work and friend commitments might get in the way this time! No worries I'll always watch it on my own if that happens.
Thanks Tomo and team! Looking forward to it!
Thank you Michael!
I gave a little too much information & my pace was a little too fast!
This time I will go over each part in details so everyone can follow me.
I will let you know everything at this time GW Live Streaming.
Mostly reviewing from last Live Streaming. Stay in One Key and 3 types (levels)
Of chords & One Chord Progression. I will review the answer on each section.
I will make a few lessons on the best Ear Training Methods later on,
So you will not miss anything! There are a few things that you all really should know.
Meantime, you can practice 7th chord arpeggios to sing.
R M3 5 M7 = Do Mi So Ti
R b3 5 b7 = Do Me So Te
R M3 5 b7 = Do Mi So Te
R b3 5 M7 = Do Me So Ti... etc. To understand each chord qualities.
Thanks for letting us know. You can watch it later.
Looking forward to this Live Stream!
Thank you.
Tomo

Thank you.

R b3 5 M7 = Do Me So Ti.
Would this be called a "minor MAJOR" 7th arpeggio?
Kind of a mix of both minor and major.
Kurt
minMaj7 chord!
Good job!
