I play in my worship team at the local church. I'm not sure how useful Mixolydian will be in direct application in the coming weeks and months. However, after I listen through a lesson once or twice, everything sounds better. I have better feel of the notes and the notes just simply sound better.
There's some funky magic at play here. I like it. I don't know how or why, but I'm not really interested in how or why when it just works.
Thanks for the magic, Tomo.
Yes Jacob! Funky magic 24/7 in Dr. Fujita's Blues and Funk Laboratory!
Keep us posted on how you apply some of it to your playing and performances.

Thank you Jacob for making this thread.
You can use any bluesy feel song with Dom7 groove.
Please watch that lesson without guitar a few times so you can remember that sound.
Maybe you should learn Dom7 groove! Play A7 with funky rhythm!
Thanks so much!
Tomo
Thanks so much Kurt!
Let me make additional lesson video on this topic!
Thank you.
Tomo
Yes please! Also, I miss the old minor triad lesson where you played reggae for a nice little while. Someday I'd love to hear more from you about how you approach playing reggae.
Kurt
Thank you Kurt!
I will make that type lesson video.
Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you.
