I've been meaning to post this for awhile. I really feel laser focused on Tomo's arm movement and pick motion. It's got me kinda excited actually.
What I'm looking down at periodically while strumming is to see that I'm hitting the pick on opposite sides as Tomo mentions in his videos.
At first my mind was saying "how is it possible to do this?" With time I discovered it is possible! That really gets me going! Plenty to still work on but wanted to share this. It's totally doable everyone!!!
Awesome Ken! You sound clean to me. Love the upstrokes. Very consistent dynamics.
Love your natural Strat!
Kurt
I see the difference in your arm movement for sure! Exciting stuff, Ken! As always, thank you for sharing.
Thanks Kurt. This is my first ever Strat. We’re bonding. Haven’t even changed the strings it came with yet!
Thank you Sammi! It is fun when 1 breakthrough comes along. And 1 of who knows how many more yet to come. Which is to say there’s a lot of work ahead. But hey, it’s for a good cause…the guitar journey!
First of all, that guitar's tone is so clear and amazing!
Single coil pickups & this shape body... really helping your techniques!
Sounds great Ken! I love it!
I am so happy to hear this!
Your right hand movement is great!
Now play slower and softer... softer!
PS, Your amp tone, your guitar tone and your tone (your hands)...
so good! Thanks so much!
Thank you.
Tomo
