Yes! I want one if I am sitting. Left foot on it. Guitar on my elevated left thigh. Stopped some wrist and elbow pain I used to have. I strap my guitar up high too.

Yes for me too Tadashi, but only with large acoustic guitar and without a strap.

I put my foot right foot on it to bring the guitar to what would be proper height if I was using a strap. I believe Kurt's approach of the left foot is technically more correct. I used to use it all the time, but found it irritated my back/hip.

I don't use it anymore when wearing a strapped guitar, electric or small acoustic.

Thanks Kurt, I’m glad that Tadashi will experiment with this and figure out what works best for him. Mostly I find the footstool just gets in the way, so I just don’t use it very often. I used to use it under my left foot a lot, then switched to my right foot fairly recently and just when playing the dreadnought. Otherwise, the strap works well for me.

I think using your left foot puts the guitar in an excellent angle for playing, no doubt.

I think the best thing is not to need one. I started using it when I was injured and have just kept using it.

I like playing fingerstyle, so I also like to put my left foot on a footstool.
I feel like it makes fingering with my left hand easier.
But I feel like strumming becomes more difficult.
I would definitely like to try playing with a strap.

Oh Yeah , I know Japan have many great old vintage guitar , and Fender made in Japan is really really great , Tomo told us !
