Hi tomo, what guitar would you recommend for a not so pricy around 1300, that'll be great for all styles and generes or would you do a video on recommendations like so (I do know you have got videos like why I love les paul), but it's not easy to choose for someone who want to jump into electric guitar from acoustic
thankssssss
Thanks Raymond for asking this question.
In generally, price points are (What I think)
$300-$500
$600-$1000
$1200-$1800
$2000-$2500
If you can spend $1300... I would wait a little bit so you can buy next range.
A few choices:
1) If you want to have a traditional look and transitional shapes & tone.
Fender (single coils)
Gibson (Humbucker)
2) More modern sound and modern looks & shapes.
PRS (Great for tuning!)
Ibanez (Versatile)
3) Smaller Brands / Japanese Brands.
Great question.
Very important not to decide too fast!
Think, think, think....
Please take your time.
For lower price models. I highly recommend Ibanez AZES 31. I am ambassador of AZES.
I am working next project with Ibanez right now. (Secret project!)

Hi,
I'm currently saving for an electric and after trying a bunch and researching many the two I'm looking at is a Telecaster or ES-335. Those would seem to fit my style of playing and musical pieces I like to play.
I would also agree with Tomo, take the time to decide, and if you can wait to go to the next tier I'd wait and really get that 'one' guitar!
All the best in your search!
There is nothing better than going to the store and playing on lots of different guitars. Find a local shop that lets you just play. We have an awesome place in CT called Brian's Guitars, they are top 5 national dealer for PRS and they just having amazing stuff...a great way to spend a few hours trying guitars and vintage amps.
Thank you Michael for sharing your thoughts.
Great plan and take your time!
Look up early or mid 70's Gibson ES-335... Even 1978,1979 Gibson ES-335...
Thank you.
Tomo
Oh, OK, I will. I was looking at a new one. Why from the mid to late 70s? What is particularly good about them?
P.S. I'd still like to know why you recommended this era (even had one from the year of my birth which would be pretty cool), however, I saw three on Reverb and each lefty 1970s ES are ranging from 9-15,000.
Sadly, don't think any of these will ever be in my price range. Not unless I win the lottery.
