Hi guys,
Recently I have been learning G triads string 1-3 to build up my foundation to learn how to play in C G chord progression, I decide to limit to 1-3 strings to not overwhelm myself.
I have watch Mr Tomo's videos about triads, my idea from the video is that once you have learnt the triads you can move on.
My question is when should I be moving on in terms on triads for example G triads done I can do A triads.
Should the way be:
1)Can hear the inversions before playing (do mi so etc.)
2) inversions (R 1st 2nd)
3) Intervals (r 3 5)
4)name of intervals (G B D)
4)internalise by keep practicing g triads string 1-3 continuously until I can play without hesitation
Any tips would be appreciated, thank youđ
Thank you for this thread!
Basically if you can play all inversions on top 123 set strings.
From bottom... from top... any directions within 2 seconds...
You can hear those notes and understand name of notes & intervals.
Try C, F, Bb....Eb
Try C, G, D, A, E....
If you play them so smoothly then you move on!
Good job!
Always... Don't hurry!
More review!
Thank you.
Tomo
Okay I'll take note, thank you so much for your time! đ
You're very welcome!
Please record yourself too!
1) Check picking volume
2) Relaxed Left hand
3) Thumb Position
4) String noise
5) Finger noise
Check fingerings too!
Tomo
