Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Dear Tomo, I first saw you in a StewMac video and I thought you seemed really cool, so I started watching your videos. The sheer volume of theory and technique you have shared is really quite a great accomplishment, and I am constantly watching and trying to absorb.
Most of all, though, your beautiful attitude is very inspiring, and you have made me feel like I can really do it.
I love the way you handle mistakes. It has changed my inclination to beat up on myself when I mess up. The principles you always mention - being patient with yourself, not comparing or expecting too much, too fast - they have transformed my experience. I really admire and thank you, and I will always be following you.

I am very positive person and nothing can bothers me! Because I have my own pace.

We are humans so we are supposed to make some mistakes and we find another paths.
Can you imagine that if you don't make any mistakes... too correct and a bit boring....

Try not to be perfect is so perfect to me. It is important to acknowledge your own mistakes or bad habits but no need to keep hitting dead "$%^&*" you know?

I have had the pleasure of meeting a few Guitar Wisdom students at one of Tomo's gigs at The Bitter End in NYC, and they shared that Tomo's words of wisdom are really what got them hooked! It is a good reminder to us all to be kind to ourselves and to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Everyone's journey is so beautiful.
