Hi guys !
Here is about when we have the situation that without guitar , maybe we will in the travel can't take our guitar , or the body need get good rest ...... how can we keep going practice & learn music ?
Now I'm in a situation without guitar now , I’m come first~
My plan is :
· Take time to enjoy the GW’s lesson , I ’m going to listen whole Essential music theory part .
·Even without guitar , can watch the Triads lesson & keep going with Tomo to review the triads .
· Do single hand Melodic Rhythm tapping & sing practice
· Learn how to listen music & explore the great music that I don't know yet
Do you have some great idea?
Hi Jiayang. Those are excellent ideas already. Some of these I’ve mentioned previously, but here are a few thoughts:
• Get a harmonica (small, inexpensive, easy to use and carry).
• Print out the Circle of Fifths and study that (or put the image on your phone).
• I also put a keyboard app on my phone. It’s helpful for sounding out chords and intervals. The one I use is this free one: Virtuoso Piano Free 3.
Are you traveling away from home?
Thank you dear Linda !
Harmonica !! This is so cool , maybe can learn how to play the harmonica ? Just think this all most be blue !!
No , haha , I just back from a hospital from more big city , my left hand had injured , a little accident , a small cartilage was injury , so the doctor told me I need good rest about 1 month for left hand , means can't use left hand to do anything ...
So I got some ear time :)
So this thread is collect the wisdom to help people get through some music time without guitar !
I have a Circle of Fifths poster ! oh I can use that !
Keyboard app !! This way we can play the new chords and feel them , really cool !
Ooh, such a drag about the injury, Jiayang. We will be counting the days until you can pick up a guitar again. But it seems you are getting great suggestions about what to do in the meantime. Let's be careful out there!
Tomo always says "embrace the limitations".
Thank you Linda!
