Could you please share a recording of a lesson from Book 1? It would be greatly appreciated! That way, other members would be able to offer feedback and benefit from it as well. There's a reason why Tomo made lessons on Volume 1 :) happy to hear you are reviewing the content from the first book.

Thank you both! The etudes definitely are a throwback to an earlier era! And they do help with left- and right- hand coordination among other things :)
I'll submit a few exercises from Book I over the course of the summer. It's been very helpful to have Tomo explain the concepts in the Leavitt books. And I'm finding that sight reading is a valuable skill -- it's helping me understand some of the other theory concepts we encounter in playing blues chord progressions, and jazz standards
