Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hi:

I'd like to get a guitar to take on the road (in the car). I'm not a fan of the concept of a "beater" anything but I want something sturdy and that can withstand the rigors of car travel.

Orangewood seems like a good fit and I know Tomo likes them and maybe some of you have them as well.

Which model? I love smaller acoustics with the (Venetian) cutaway. And if not Orangewood, what else? Road worthiness and playability is a higher priority than cost. Used it cool too.

Just a thought, which I expect to get shot for!
have you thought about a carbon fiber guitar. I've heard that cars are bad places for wooden guitars, large variations of temperature and humidity. I have an Enya X3 Pro which is fine but not a patch on my Martin 000SM.
as I say just a thought.

Andrew I love your Martin! I remember from one of the early videos you posted. Nice deep tone and looks comfortable to play smaller shape.
