I am currently practicing Bb blues form with major triads on strings 432. When I practice each triad slowly, I think to myself Do mi so, mi so do and so on... and on different times R M3 5, M3 5 R and so on and try to hear and predict sound of each note in order in my head (or sing sometimes) before I play. However, when I practice the Bb blues form or any form involving chords for that matter, I usually only think about inversion or mainly even just look at the shape and not think about anything (which maybe is not so good). I can play pretty cleanly with little noise (still improving of course) so sometimes I am not thinking too much when I move through this chord forms. This is in part because I am moving somewhat quick (not too fast) so I never thought to think Do mi So..., R M3 5... while playing through playing through the form. I tried doing it today where I can think about sound and degree while playing through the form a little more slowly so I'm able to think about these things. Tomo, is this more on the right track?
Thank you so much!
I have had lots of thoughts and question about the way I practice. I am always reflecting but sometimes I forget to ask these things

Thank you Tim for sharing your experience with Triad study.
Maybe you need to practice more C Traid Inversions and think more - Name of notes / Intervals / Do Mi So... Do more excercises until you can play them smoothly without thinking shape first.
Then you can apply F Triad then Bb Triad.
Slow is best way to approach learning triad inversions.
You need to practice more before you perform on Bb Blues.
So you can take more time to think about everything you need.
Noise issue on lower strings. In order to make no noise.
Simply play them super slow! Don't rush at all.
Write them (What you need to do) on paper so you will not forget!
More you do slow .... then you can improve your playing and you can play everything so smoothly. So when you are practicing those triad inversions you need to think 3 things & try to sing them. If you feel anything fast.. then that's not so good! Anything quick... then it will take much longer! Did you watch basic triad inversions in C (VIDEO)?
You're very welcome!
Tomo
Hi Tim,
Keep doing what maestro is saying.
I was looking at my GW practice notebook. For me, it was a solid 8 or 9 months before feeling like I understand and hear, and feel the triad inversions, …
I still get lazy with naming the notes but I am working on that. I feel like I’m just starting to get it.
Say and play, slowly slowly slowly, and listen and I promise you will feel it, know it, play it!!
I felt like Neo at the end of the first matrix movie, when I just started to get it! Awesome feeling for me.
Keep going friend!!
