Thank you Tim for sharing your experience with Triad study.

Maybe you need to practice more C Traid Inversions and think more - Name of notes / Intervals / Do Mi So... Do more excercises until you can play them smoothly without thinking shape first.

Then you can apply F Triad then Bb Triad.
Slow is best way to approach learning triad inversions.

You need to practice more before you perform on Bb Blues.
So you can take more time to think about everything you need.

Noise issue on lower strings. In order to make no noise.
Simply play them super slow! Don't rush at all.

Write them (What you need to do) on paper so you will not forget!
More you do slow .... then you can improve your playing and you can play everything so smoothly. So when you are practicing those triad inversions you need to think 3 things & try to sing them. If you feel anything fast.. then that's not so good! Anything quick... then it will take much longer! Did you watch basic triad inversions in C (VIDEO)?

Keep doing what maestro is saying.

I was looking at my GW practice notebook. For me, it was a solid 8 or 9 months before feeling like I understand and hear, and feel the triad inversions, …

I still get lazy with naming the notes but I am working on that. I feel like I’m just starting to get it.

Say and play, slowly slowly slowly, and listen and I promise you will feel it, know it, play it!!

I felt like Neo at the end of the first matrix movie, when I just started to get it! Awesome feeling for me.

Thank you so much Tomo I will do all of these things. I think stress maybe comes from worrying about the result or from feeling like there’s so much to do and being hard to pick one thing to practice. Sometimes when I spend like a week or a little more I start to stress more. Sometimes yes maybe I can be in a hurry because I’m getting distracted by the stress. A demo would be amazing if you have a little time thank you so much. I am very grateful for guitar wisdom

Sounds great to me too!

I really liked the “one string, one finger” excercise for scales and especially triads.

In the past I didn’t understand the fretboard at all so I learned to play pieces measure by measure, note by note. So I memories positions and shapes. When I did that, it was difficult to recover from mistakes because I just got lost. Also my technique became better than reading skills and it just lead to frustration and not playing at each plateau.

One string, one finger helped me remember to hear the sounds too.

Actually I have to practice saying everything out loud again. Too easy to remember triad shapes and drop the rest.

I don’t know how maestro replies to all the threads! You are inspiring me man! Ok, I gotta talk less, practice more like all of you! I feel like we’re all the same here on GW. All walking our own path through GW space together. I think I heard maestro say that in the intro videos.

Thank you Linda. Yeah that is very true. Because I memorized the pieces as a series of movements with my hands not by melody, chord changes… It lead to dark places….

But I think I’m finding my way out, like you, like Tim, like all of us. :) Triads are amazing I feel like I made so much progress already…
