Hi guitar wisdom fam. I recently got my new acoustic guitar to my local guitar shop to change the stings and clean it for the first time! It's the second day now and i feel that the action is a bit higher than before! ( I feel this especially in e and b stings in the 12-15 frets).
The sound is great and big when i play chords but when i play lead in that spot I feel that the sound cuts of sometimes when I do bends and also i feel that i have to do a bit more movement for pressing the strings down!
Did anyone had this experience before when he change first time strings in his guitar?
Is any chance that the sting high adjusted just with the change of string or that with a bit of time and playing the action will adjust a bit!?
What is the cm that you professor believe is the ideal at an acoustic guitar at the 12fret?.
Thank you for sharing about your acoustic guitar action. I use 12-53 and my string height is aroujnd 2.00mm at the 12th fret.
Maybe your guitar is not settled yet. New guitar's neck can move a little bit. Otherway around.... some of my new acoustic guitar's string height is too low then I put 13-56 for a while.
