In the first bar of the lead guitar of the two, two of the berklee method. Is the note in the first bar there is 1 and 2 and ah. The ah is the same as when counting 16th notes? Thanks

yeah so it is cut time. meaning the half note now gets 1 beat. quarter note now is an eighth note. eighth note is now a sixteenth note. I think this is right. I need to start studying this book again.

Yes, Stefan, 16th notes. Two pages later (on Page 31) there is an exercise for 16th notes showing the counting like that.

yes, eighth notes in 2/2 may be counted the same as sixteenth notes in 4/4. only two beats in a bar in 2/2 though:
1 e & a 2 e & a | 1 e & a 2 e & a | 1 e & a 2 e & a | 1 e & a 2 e & a
