I getting started by reviewing the Music Theory courses that are very informative. But i would also like to start with some basic soloing ideas (caged system) when i am not reviewing music theory. Is there a way i can do that or what is the best way to do it as i study music theory. Thank you
No idea. I would say single string stuff, but also technique is crazy important. these last two days i have done nothing but really slow R 3 7 swing and I tried some Lovely Chord stuff and immediately seemed so much easier.

Thank you Paul for your passion on guitar playing! "CAGED" is just "Connection" between big triad chord forms and nothing to do with that much improvisation technique. So this part, you want to learn more triad inversions which is the best way to understand the fretboard, if you don't understand the fretboard, it is harder to pick notes when you can hear what sounds you are looking for.
Maybe you can start to play simple melody only using Major scale. One String One Finger Approach and play some melodys. You can play over CMaj7 or play FMaj7 CMa7 chord progressions etc.

Maybe you can play minor scale on One String One Finger approch. That case, you need to think b3 b6 b7... over C-7 or A-7....
Then you can make simple chord progressions. C-7 F-7... or A-7 D-7 etc.

You can practice blues chord progression with R 3 7 Swing Groove so that you can hear blues chord progression natrally.
You can learn simple melody and learn triads over blues chord progression.
