I have been away for about a year and focused the past year specifically on Bill Leavitt's volume 1. This is really a great book and I am very please with my progress through page 91. I have done the pages OVER and OVER and OVER. I hadn't worked on R37 swing in over a year and remembered it last night. I started playing it on acoustic and it sounded pretty good!! Same for e blues shuffle. I am so glad to be back and can't wait to see how the skills I learned in leavitt the past year make things easier and smoother. The book has definitely given me alot of skills.
Welcome back Thomas. As much of a slog as that book can be, there is definitely gold if you keep digging. I'm still on pp18-19 after several months. Totally worth it.
