Hi everyone,
Happy to join the community.
Please see my attempt on this lesson, which could also serve as a reference point for future revisits.
Details:
1. Played with normal (on the softer side of normal) picking force
2. The slight "interference-like" sound appears to come with the amp in the plugin and occur whenever a note is played.
Gear:
1. Neck pickup (humbucker)
2. Neural DSP John Mayer X with below settings
a. All noise gate, pre-/post-fx off
b. Amp "Smooth Operator" with | Bright Switch: ON | Volume: 5 | Bass: 4.5 | Treble 7.5 | Output: 7
c. Cab: Condenser U67 and Dynamic 57
3. Mackie CR-X4BT Powered Speakers
4. Strings: Rotosound Stainless Steel (due to allergies; still not out of the woods)
5. Acoustix guitar playing gloves (due to allergies; uncoated tips)
6. Pick: Dunlop Jazz III 1.0mm
Room Setting:

Open to any comments on music, technique, tone, recording, setup and everything. Thank you!
My attempt on the "soft" picking as below; same settings as above, thanks.

Thank you Hugo for sharing.
Don't touch your guitar volume knob that often. Set it around 8 and do not touch it unless you play R 3 7 Swing groove. I think it's too close from iPhone.
You can play it very slowly. Did you practice One String One Finger approach on 2nd string?
When you do it, do not look at your fingers.
Good job! Nice and clean. Very smooth. Your picking position could move a little toward a fronf pickup.
Tomo
Good job Hugo! Always practice softer picking! (When you are playing without an amp... you cannot hear any sound from your guitar.... that soft!)
Tomo
When you post a video, after this, please wait 2 weeks then you can post another one.
