Hi everyone -

I’ve been working on the triad arpeggio series for a while and am looking guidance on picking.

In general, I usually concentrate on practicing things in alternate picking with downstrokes on the beat. I have now spent some time getting familiar with the fingerings in this series and am working on muting, both in all downstrokes and in alternate picking. Is it good practice to play these in alternate picking? I think so, but I also feel like other patterns lend themselves to these sequences as well.

I don’t want to build up a habit in the wrong pattern (something I have done before), so I wanted to ask for your advice.

I'd like to point out that this question can relate to many things...
Tomo says when you start to ask yourself, "Should I do this, or that?" The answer is usually to practice both!
That way, you have CHOICES.

Thank you Sammi! The question feels like one with an obvious answer but I am concentrating on finding the right flow for these things, particularly ones that I want to practice on a regular basis.
