Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hey,

I’m into foundation for 3 months now and I practice blues rhythm a lot. Just simple A Blues Shuffle bassline or r37 or triads. From time to time I play together with a friend who plays bass. We usually play A blues for hours and I’m having a lot of fun. With dynamics and different phrasing it feels like conversation.

It feels like I could get into some melody playing or just mixing up chords and melody. Any suggestions what topic on GW I should study to get started?

I'm guessing if you're playing A Blues Shuffle, you have already looked at the lesson. But may be worth another look. Especially at the 9:40 mark - Tomo covers some solo phrases for that. If you've been working R37 a lot, and if you haven't already checked it out, I'd look at the Blue Monk Challenge thread and find all of Tomo's detailed videos on the solo etude for that.
